SPCA Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic

The SPCA has opened a new low-cost spay/neuter clinic at their shelter in Burnside. This is a wonderful opportunity for people of fixed or low-come to have their animals spayed or neutered at an affordable price. They do both dogs and cats.  Spay Day HRM is willing to help people who chose to use the SPCA Clinic. If you need help with the application form, use of a cat carrier or a drive for your cat to their neuter appointment, please email spaydaynovascotia@gmail.com and we will be more than pleased to assist you. Or advise the SPCA when you schedule your appointment that you require assistance to get your cat to the clinic appointment.

The service for animals at the SPCA clinic is spaying and neutering only. Spay Day HRM operates with donations and fundraising and the waiting period can be months. If you are able to afford the SPCA low-cost prices, I encourage you to use their clinic so that your cat can be spayed or neutered as soon as possible and prevent more kittens being born.

    My cat has not had anything to eat in 3days and been throwing up atleast 4 to 6 times daliy i dont have money to take her to the vet im so worried about her i hate to see her suffer pls get back to me asap im very scared at this moment i cant loose my bestfriend thanks

    Hi, i am on income assistance and have a female cat and she goes into heat fairly often i feel horrible that i cant get her spayed is there a long waiting list for your low income programm?
